POÇAS

This project is a proposal of three commercial posters for the portuguese winery and brand Poças. I used a light and relaxed tone of communication to appeal a younger public to buy port wines. Each illustration explores a different slogan, two of which are messages already used by the brand in other campaigns or moments:

— Always served in places of distinction;

— Conserving friends;

And a third one explored by me:

— Crying for more.

This sequence of 3 posters forms a Christmas series, using the illustrations and slogans in a way that aims at the festive season.

Crying for more — An illustration alluding to the pleasures of drinking port wine, using the idea of it being so good, that it makes you cry for more.

Always served in places of distinction — An illustration alluding to the slogan used by the company, changing the usual places associated with the consumption of Port wine, for a place of comfort and relaxation.

Conserving friends — An illustration alluding to the story in the book celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poças, in which Manoel D. Poças Júnior, during the 2nd World War, offered canned goods to its closest customers, thus using the idea of conserving friends.
